BT Limited Hungarian Branch

It is the subsidiary of British Telecom, which has 20 million customers and 100 thousand employees in 70 countries in the world. It managed the “HEFOP 4.4 Egészségügyi információtechnológia-fejlesztés az elmaradott régiókban” project, which had software purchase related parts. The BT requested our help on defining software to purchase and optimizing the purchase.

Invitel Telecommunications

In 2007, the HTCC Group merged its products and services under the “Invitel” brand name. The member companies of the dynamically growing Group (Hungarotel Zrt., Pantel Kft., HTCC Kft., V-holding Zrt. and Euroweb Zrt.) merged into Invitel Távközlési Zrt. with effect from 1 January 2008. The Group became Hungary’s number one alternative network provider and the second largest of the country’s fixed-line service providers. They asked us to help making IT device inventory, standardization of processes and develop up-to-date easy-to-adopt software asset management processes.

Telenor Hungary

Pannon is one of Hungary’s leading mobile operators. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Telenor Group of Norway, Pannon was established in 1994 and it soon developed a strong presence in Hungary. The company invested huge resources to meet the software asset management regulations. They use IPR’s SAM-Insights to control their employees software usage and to manage their software license agreement.

The youngest mobile operator in Hungary is the member of the Vodafone Group, which is one of the largest companies in the world. It has subsidiaries in 5 continents. In Hungary it came to an evolved market, so it had to fit both the market challenges and the parent company’s expectations. In this situation the head management decided to hire an external expert to develop their software asset management.
